I've unsubscribed to threads but as soon as I post in them I am signed up again. I would rather not get any updates. I check in enough to follow the threads I am interested in. Plus it's just filling up my inbox.

in your user cp, look to the right, then go to "edit options"

Ok...I don't think that's working, I asked not to subscribe to threads when I first signed up, but I keep getting subscribed anyway...

There might be a setting on this board to auto-subscribe everyone from within the posting ... but if you go into usercp you can customize your setting.

Ahhh found it. Go to user cp and on the left hand side "edit options" There is a drop done for thread subscriptions. Set it to no notification.

Yea I did that. Whats cool is you can actually set a particular thread for subscription if you wanted to keep updated.
