Mammoth vs Vegas
 

tough decision. got two groups of friends going to two different awesome places for the same awesome new year weekend.

let's see... shredding crazy lines at Mammoth, getting wasted, hot tub with possible snow bunnies to watch the balls drop, or...

coke, ecstacy, gambling, alcohol... maybe strippers and hookers, and maybe hooking up with some witless out-of-towner (i used to live in Vegas) in the city of lights.

Did you intend to post this on the snowboarding forum? :dunno:

Agreeed with above. But I'll bite....Vegas you'll blow a ton of money on coke, hookers, and gambling. In Mammoth, you put down cash(actually about as much as you would on blow) for real snow, snow bunnies that require a little less (but it'll be LA girls, so they may be more expensive than the hookers), but no gambling.

So the question here is gamble in sand or board in snow (already a 36-72 inch base and full ops expected for next week). C'mon dude! Save Vegas for Spring Break, Summer Silliness, or Fall Festivities.......Hit the Snow brother! I'd take a bunnie or two in a Roxy beanie Ugg Boots and over a Chick with a Fendi Bag and Gucci shoes any day!

it is snowboarding related, and it is in the nightlife section. seems appropriate to me.

i'm basically looking for a weekend with a lot of intoxicated shenanigans. i enjoy both places equally, and i consider the two equal in terms of fun to be had.

Right on! Mammoth is our plan for new yrs as well. Party at Canyon Lodge..i'm sure you can pick up a couple bunnies there! :cool:

I don't know what the scene is like in Mammoth, but partying with a bunch of dudes wouldn't be my idea of a great New Year's, necessarily.
