Then educate me, I have no fucking idea how it works. All I know is that techno-trance tends to be mostly looping tracks, with a slight change up every, oh 30 seconds. It just doesn't sound very interesting to listen to live.
For starters, how do you think your big shots like Justin Timberlake get their beats? It's certainly not usually from someone actually playing an instrument these days. Not to discredit the awesomeness of playing an instrument, as I think it's amazing and takes tons of talent!
But the people making electronic music have to have an ear for every type of instrument and know it's role in music. It takes a hell of a creative mind to build quality electronic music. You figure that they start with literally no sound at all and then they can make a song that's usually more full and produced than you get from many bands.
And the every 30 second thing is based upon a loop...
Most likely you've been exposed to some extremely under produced main stream crap by someone like Girl Talk, and you know think it takes no brains to make the music.
And Electronic music isn't for everyone... It's actually very forward thinking music, which is why I hate a lot of the people who go mainstream like Infected Mushroom. And it's Mushroom, not mushrooms....
Bassnectar is another perfect example of someone who used to be awesome and sold out for the mainstream. He tries to cover it by being picky about what shows he plays, but his live performances speak louder then words.
And Pawlo, that's really cool that you get EDM... I'm not hating on you, just saying that there's a LOT more out there then Infected Mushroom. Be sure to keep exploring instead of just being fed mainstream artists like IM
A mix I've really been diggin is by "The Machinist - Neuro Bass Mix" You may like that, maybe not. It could be a bit to chuggy for you if your into current IM
