How's the nightlife in Snowmass?

Does the nightlife in Snowmass have a different vibe than the nightlife in Aspen? Or is the nightlife in Snowmass non-existent?

I'm going to Aspen next weekend but I'll be staying in Snowmass. Right now I'm planning on spending most of my time in Aspen but I'm thinking about maybe checking out the bar at Viceroy in Snowmass on Thursday night.

Does anyone here have any experience with nightlife at the Viceroy bar in Snowmass or the nightlife in Snowmass in general?

Snowmass is generally way mellow compared to Aspen proper. I have no idea if they have some nights at that particular spot that are hopping or not. We do have a few Aspen locals on the forum so maybe they'll illuminate you more on this.

I've never been to Snowmass at night, but I get the feeling that it's pretty low key. I think most people go over to Aspen for nightlife even if they're staying in Snowmass.

Ok - 2 people say SM has mellow nightlife so I think that's probably the case.

I think I'll check out Viceroy in SM because it's brand new and has a nice new fresh and modern design. Also, b/c Viceroy had pretty good nightlife when I used to go to its Santa Monica location.

Aside from Viceroy - it looks like I'll be heading to Aspen for nightlife.

The excellent bus system makes it very easy to cruise over to Aspen.

Aspen at night is a magical place. There are so many shops, restaurants,and bars to check out, it is astounding!

Yes - I just called the hotel that I'm going to be staying at in Snowmass and they told me that they have a bus stop directly outside of their door and that the bus goes all the way down to downtown Aspen about a 5 min walk from the Sky Hotel which is supposed to have some of the best nightlife.
