Nighlife in Whistler - Snowboarding Forum

Can anyone here recommend nightlife in Whistler, BC?

I've heard that the nightlife in Whistler beats out the nightlife in Aspen hands down.

I wasn't real impressed with the nightlife in Aspen so I think that next New Year's I may go up to Whistler.

I've been wanting to check out Vancouver for a while so I should be able to pair that trip with a visit to Whistler as well.

Can anyone here give an assessment of Whistler nightlife and maybe list out a few of the hotspots?

I haven't been to the night clubs in Vancouver but been there a couple times for visits and it's a really nice city. I wish I could live there. When I was there, the nightlife area in downtown seemed really small and cops were just everywhere blocking the streets... We were deciding to go to the night clubs but it wasn't much so we went to one of their annual outside tent market in Richmond instead and it was lots of fun. Love that city and you should definitely check it out, along with Whistler. Canada is beautiful.

I just came back from Whistler over New Years, you will love it! The people that live there are so nice! The Geribaldi is a sweet place to hang out, and there's also Max Fish, Tommy Africa's, and The Longhorn Saloon... if you're going you should deffinately go in advance so you can check some of the places out in advance and decide... Buy you tickets for New Years a few days in advance they range from 60-150 a person depending where you go and what you get... There's also some nights of the week where they have a bar hopping service, you'll find a girl on the main street at a little stand kinda thing and she'll tell you all about it... It's a great way to meet people... Love Whistler so much and plan on moving there within 5 years when I'm done school... I don't think you'll be dissapoointed!
