Funny statement.

Aspen is the nightlife spot for ski areas in the US. Only Whistler has a bigger scene. Breck is a backwater dump in comparison. In fact it doesn't compare to what Aspen has. Of course Aspen comes at a premium. If you are looking at it from that angle, Breck is going to cost you less.

The riding terrain at Aspen kicks all sorts of @$$ over Breck too. Breck is such a flat boring hill. The three biggies (Ajax, Snowmass, Highlands)at Aspen have better terrain than almost all of Summit County.

i've been to all three...

i'm not much of a partier so i'm going by what i observed based on an average of 1 night out in each. aspen seemed kinda clubby, small night clubs, lots of europeans, lots of pills being passed around. park city is more bars, everyone drinking beer, lots of americans... and tahoe i don't remember having anything, but the friends i was with are even more boring than i am, so it could just be that.

and oh, the food in aspen is great. food in park city was just ok. i can't even remember eating off the mountains at tahoe, maybe because driving to the different resorts takes up all your time.

You should be ok, but man megladan is right about the flight. I've watched them come in and thought that it must be a hell of a ride. It's a small narrow little valley you land in with big mountains surrounding it. There are a few spots that are much the same way, like Jackson. Should be an exciting ride for sure.
