Banff no question, if its for the night life.

If your doing it to future your progress and for the love of the sport (like most people do, besides you I don't really know anyone who goes to work at a resort for girls/clubs). I would say Revelstoke, it my be a smaller resort; but it has the best powder, no line ups, and the town is just full of ski bums; who live there because its what they enjoy. Side note, Revelstoke does not really have a bar/club.

Fernie could be thought of for the same reasons you mentioned. If I were taking a couple years to lead a no-stress life in a ski town, I'd probably pick Fernie for the small town vibe... I'm biased though cause I've never been to Revelstoke.

If you don't go for Banff go for Revi. Rain can be a problem at Fernie and avi issues in bounds (lots of closure). Only problem with revi is you need scuba gear! It gets deep out there!

alright. first off, born and bred in revelstoke. best mountain town on the planet, and believe me, ive been to most.

whistler- good partying, good terrain, but....just remember the thread you have started, a single european MALE looking to find girls and live the dream snowboarding. now imagine just how many guys are doing the same. multiply that by 2. now add 1000. and voila, whistler.

banff- std capital of north america. close to calgary, where some girls come over to spend daddy's money and not snowboard. good partying, but next to no canadians. just about every person with a working holiday visa.
oh, and a bag full of douchebags every weekend to come and ski for an hour, then walk around in ufc Tshirts, goggles on sideways and smoking light cigarettes because thats what they think snowboarders do.
ill add that i have had good nights out in banff, but thats because of good homies, and bitches be crazy about good homies.

I'd say Fort Mac is the STD capital of north america, not banff!!! Banff is actually a pretty tame little town. It is 100% the most tourist of all mountain towns but I have seen people waiting for the bus, snowboard/skis in hand.

Unfortunately you get "tapout" douchebags anywhere you go...

well i would put fort mac as the crack capital of Canada, and intravenous drugs always go hand in hand with sexually transmitted diseases, so yes, i think you do win that one...

ahh to be young again, locking yourself in a roadside motel, and injecting yourself with cooked household cleaners while some scabby skeleton sits on the bed and awaits for her spun out prince, so she can take you to pleasure town.

See my avatar for what I saw in the mirror that last time I stayed in a roadside motel! I was working away from home and it was $200 a week for the room. I think I found crack in one of the drawers... I think I moved out by day 3!!!
