Ahem op if a bouncer gives you trouble and asks to see a passport just say you left it in the hotel safe so as not to lose it. Flash your fake Aussie ID and own it. Act like you belong and providing you're not trying to get into a trendy club or a starlet hangout you'll be fine.

As for liquor stores and dispensaries you can probably hook shit up from meeting people people at hostels etc.

What part of town are you stayin in LA? It's a big place.
