The thing I like about the entire Mt. Hood area is the diversity amongst all three ski/ride areas. Meadows has the most advanced terrain and is the largest area. Timberline has the best parks, least crowds, best views and best snow. The atmosphere there is the most laid back and mellow. Skibowl has incrdible terrain and an very "local" feel, not to mention awesome night riding. The old, slow lifts can be a bit annoying with the main lift beings so long that they should have an in-flight movie....

The up side though is this keeps the area from getting tracked out in the first hour of opening. With these thress great places to ride, there is something for everyone at Mt. Hood.
