Default Opening Weekend Australian Ski Season

Any Aussies have any stories from opening weekend? We're lacking sHnow but I hear we're up for some white stuff by the end of the week.. No sHnow opening weekend the Night life must have been a lil hectic......

Only time I can ever remember sHnow opening weekend was back in 2000, I was in Falls Creek and it dumped all weekend..

well it snowed thursday night and i (think) friday night aswell so they have the village 8 open, a t-bar and a carpet open on front valley.

Perisher Blue Snow Reports by The Wang he does updates a couple of times a week about the falls and stuff at perisher.

i really hope we have a good season this year

Keeping our fingers crossed for you guys... The western US had an epic year with a strong La Nina...hope you get dumped on.

I wish I lived closer to the montains, then I could get up there more often. Hopefully there is some good early dumps this season.

Well if you really want to be jealous Portillo has already received over 172 inches this season. It's puking in that region of South America.

Portillo in Peru? 172 inches, wish I was there, we've got nothing in Aus still...
