Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant in Whistler to take my GF for Valentine's Day? I'm not too concerned about price. We're both young, so we're looking for something with a trendy atmosphere.

With out a doubt the best place you can take her is The Rim Rock. Everything else is a distant second. In second place and still respectable would be Hys, Quatro or The Grill Room.
The Rim Rock would be more suited for a romantic Valentines dinner, with still having a busy atmosphere. Food is fantastic and you will gain huge points by knowing to order the Sticky Toffee Pudding for desert. Your only problem is going to be getting a reservation. Skip the Bearfoot Bistro, or Araxis. |

Their drink selection is really good too. I had a cocktail and Rumrunner by Vic local cidery Sea Cider and an apricot dessert wine from California which was not too sweet, I think I could have polished off the bottle. Araxi do a beautiful gnocci, best ive ever had and I hear Trattoria di Umberto is a very good restaurant too but I am yet to try.
