Hitting up Montreal for the week with a bunch of friends, partying hard until New Years eve and then parting even harder, then depending on how functional I am the next day boarding at some point @ Mont Tremblent (probably go for night boarding, Ill be takin the day to recover). After that we'll be heading out to Vermont for some more boarding.
Heads up, Tremblant lifts open crazy early and close at 3:45pm, friend of mine was so disappointed when he found out he couldn't go night boarding last year
I'll probably head up to blue mountain early with my friend, so we can board for the 2 hours of the morning in which the snow hasn't turned completely to ice yet. Damn you, crappy Ontario weather...
Wait-- Did I read that correctly? Tremblant doesnt have night boarding..? I cant even put my dissappointment into words right now haha
I love blue. Is it just me, or is it insanely busy there all the time?
Blue's not so bad in the morning, afternoons at blue are one big game of dodge the slowpoke/ski school/discarded infant. Night time's great, especially in the Telus park. Aside from St. Louis/moonstone it's still the best hill I know of in Ontario though.
And yeah, as far as I'm aware Tremblant can't be bothered to put lights up, so I'm sure they save millions in electrical bills every year, but no night runs.
On the other side, it's nice to have the afternoon to chill and apparently the nightlife is pretty epic, if that interests you. More of a compromise than a loss, depending on how you look at it.
