Looking for host in NY :-)

Hey guys
Not really a typical question but me and my friend came to NY from Poland coz we found some cheap flying tickets and we don't really have anywhere to sleep

We are looking for a couch or place on ground from 29th till 4th DEC. We would be happy to hang around, go party, talk about snowboarding and watch some snowboarding videos together. My friend is one of the best polish female riders so she is definitely worth meeting with haha

We are both 22 years old.

Peace!!!

Oh man, macjous you know this is a bad lead up to a mugging or something right?!? I can just see somebody letting you stay and then taking all your stuff while you're gone.

On the other hand, probably safer to ask on here than on craigslist...

Are there no hostels in/around NYC? At least you'd get a lockable box for your stuff.

Quite honestly I would not stay at any place in Nyc if you don't know them before hand.

Asking to crash at someone place in Ny from a random stranger is just asking for it, especially in Nyc. Trust me I'm from Nyc and there are a lot of scum bags in the city. There are good ones but usually the good ones will not let random strangers stay in their apartment or house.

You can most likely find a cheap hotel if you are in upstate NY. Nothing in Nyc is cheap.
