Day Trip to Windham in a Van Tomorrow???

Honda Odyssey van (Fits 7, my guess more like 5 with gear, comfortably)

$170 for 24 hrs gas and excess mileage included.

($121.07 for the car (180 miles free) .45 cents a mile after that.
From my area in Manhattan its a 280 mile round trip, do the math )

2 people in so far myself included.

Tips for being a cool as fuck driver appreciated but not necessary.

J/K, sorta.

With 4 people that = $42.50 for a round trip to Windham Mountain.
With 5 people that = $34.00
With 6 people that = $28.33

I think it may be icy. It rained Sunday night/Monday morning and then it was very cold and windy since then.

looking at the weather now I think you're right, we were up there in brutal temps Friday and the snow kinda sucks

I guess I'll wait and maybe go thurs/fri, looks like it'll warm up
the weekend will be in the 40s which is lame

either way the #'s are there for everyone, time to milk ZipCar for all its worth!

Won't be too icy...the Catskills only saw around a quarter of an inch of rain. The snow team has had enough time to lay down what should be 3-4 inches of new on the already open trails.

damn dude book the ovrride bus to windham lol. Hunter will be more crowded than windham this month. They have the college deals going on and the learn to ride deal which will keep the mountain a little busier than normal

too late now! I was hoping hunter would be quieter mid-week (I normally go up on the weekends to Windhams only..heard Hunter gets crazy on the weekends). I like Hunter's terrain better

Saw some pictures of friends who took a ride to Windham today. It doesn't look too promising, the rain destroyed the snow. Anything off the direct trail is mud. I hope they get some good snow making going soon. But then again, it's supposed to be the low 50s and rainy this weekend.
