Default cheap(er) lift tickets for stowe

Hey folks

I'll be at Stowe next week for 2 days with a group of 7. Looking for discount tickets and liftopia is giving me a 'whopping' 12% on the two day. Any ideas on getting a bigger discount?

Thanks

12% is better than 0%, generally the only way to get a discount if you don't already "know somebody", is to order them in bulk, way ahead of time.

I went to Big Sky last month with the fam, and we ordered tickets for 4 days (for the 6 of us, so 24 tickets) 6 months in advance, and they were about half price.

Other than that.. good luck.

Thanks for the info.

Turns out my company is part of workingadvantage, so i may end up going that route. At $80 a pop though, they're still rather steep

Yeah some companies have hookups with places for discounts etc. Do what you need to do to get a discount, it's always nice!

But next time, try and get them way in advance! You save a ton of money

Too bad you're locked in to those dates...we join the ski club. Only $35 a year and it more than pays for itself with one trip out. Check out this calendar. Stowe works out to less than $30 a day for a multi-day pass. And you don't even have to be a Connecticut resident (or ski) to join.

BTW, look at the February calendar. Slightly more expensive, but still about half price. Meeting are on Thursdays, though. You're probably out of luck for getting tix for this week.
