Basically same thing? Went to Windham earlier this season. Gonna ride tomorrow and trying to decide.

I haven't been to Belleayre, but I hear good things. Windham is awesome.

Belleayre is fun after a big dump but windham takes the cake hands down. The double blacks are almost never touched and the parks are always well kept. Lastly they absolutely crush belleayre when it comes to snowmaking and overall coverage.

Yes, Belleayre sucks. Please stay at Windham, thanks!

Windham does get more snow making but it also gets pretty crowded and I hate waiting on lines for too long especially on the A and F lifts. Belle is split into lower and upper mountains, lower where all the greens are. Upper is where you will find blues and blacks. I personally like Belle more because the lack of people.

Did you have fun skating the top of Bellayre? Windham I feel is a better spot, but Bellayre we've had plenty of fun

i'm biased towards windham not only because the trails are good, but because I also have a "secret powder spot" in windham - it's essentially a very underutilised, ungroomed double black that noone seems to go to. Not very big, but it's there

Unfortunately I don't like Belleayre much. The two lodges don't handle weekend crowds very well. The terrain also leaves much to be desired - firstly, all the advanced terrain is very short, and secondly half the terrain comprises of moguls (at least for the two times i've been this season).
another really annoying thing is that belleaye has a lot of flat areas. Even with flows it's not fun to have to take off my board/do the awkward side shuffle constantly. Getting off the Superchief/Lift 7 gives you access to all the advanced terrain, but you have to walk like 500 feet to get to some of those.

that said, Belleayre's (only) redeeming feature is that it gets plenty of snow so powder days do happen.
