Anyone know how Hunter West is holding up?
My Bataleon Enemy is coming in the mail today, can't wait to take to Hunter this weekend.

Figured I'd bump this thread.

I hit up Hunter yesterday, conditions were surprisingly good. Hardly any ice and not too many people(just avoid Belt Parkway). They were blowing snow on like 75% of the trails serviced by the Kaatskill Flyer.

Too bad it looks like they're getting rain later this week.

I almost went yesterday but was afraid of crowds. Looks like temps will drop again after the rain, hopefully they can make it up by blowing more snow.

Planning to go on the 2nd and 3rd when I'm back in town.

I guess the crowds were thin yesterday as it's the last weekend before Christmas and people are finishing up shopping.

I was thinking the opposite, first weekend out of school and it will be crowded before people travel for Christmas.

Glad you were able to enjoy the conditions.

Went up today. Snow was really good in a lot of places. It's been plenty cold since the last storm so there's natural mixed in with the man made they've been able to blow. I'd hit it tomorrow before the rain washes it all away on wednesday and we are left with icy death for the rest of the year.

Lift lines were manageable throughout the day. I've seen better, I've seen worse. Speaking of worse I saw a guy get his leg stuck under the chair getting on and dislocate his knee. That was nasty.

But yea, go. It was good, West still isn't open, but whatever.

I figured with the natural snow and as much as they seem to be blowing that Hunter West wasn't open. I was a bit bummed out.
