Another one bites the dust...

Just got an e-mail that Jiminy Peak has shut down for the season. All of the other MA/CT and even a few Vermont resorts are done. I guess it's officially over for Southern New England. Sad. Now I have to really put the gear away, instead of just stacking it by the closet hoping for a late season blizzard.

:(

At least I ended the season with four days at Sutton and Jay Peak. I'd love to go back for one last run, but it's kind of like the last run of the day…maybe one too many. The season started late, I didn't hit a lot of the places we usually do, but I got some "new" ones in -- Cannon and Sutton, which were both insane with lots of fresh pow -- so I have nothing to complain about. I guess I'll be working on the organic garden until beach volleyball starts.

Yea I packed up the gear last week. Got up to Jay for a final couple of days and didn't wanna sully the memories with riding some slush/nice. Nonetheless, it was a fun season but now it's time for surgery smh

I haven't played in a while, but I used to play in lot of the Shotblock tournies back in the day in and around Newport. Great sport, too bad the AVP folded...although making a slight comeback. You can always hit up your favorite, Killington, for a last hoorah.
