Default This last month is killing me!

The rest of the country is in a deep freeze and we can't even get a consistent few days that aren't getting into the 40s. I know it's early, but this cold enough on some days but not enough days in a row for anything south of Vermont to take the plunge is a killer.

I feel your pain. For VA, it's been quite below average the past few days and will continue that way into next weekend. But Thanksgiving week is showing a warm up - and I hope it won't mess up all the snow my local resorts are currently making and we'll get a decent Thanksgiving weekend opening day. If you think about it, it's not usually this cold in November anyway for most of the east coast. Once mid-December hits, I think we'll definitely be looking at more consistent below average temps. I'm getting impatient though...got this new board here that's been looking me in the face since August! I REALLY hope Thanksgiving weekend works out because I'm already counting the days. Got a five day weekend and after family time I want it to be shred time.

That's part of the killer. Even you guys, which I consider the South, are at least blowing. Southern New England is a good 10F warmer than you all.

Ya, the jet stream hasn't been kind. 40/50s every day but 2 in the 10 day with rain. I really should just relax about it, Dec 1st is really the earliest everywhere but the big guys in VT even try to open. But it's killing me.

All this cold has managed to do is raise my heating bill for Nov.

I feel lucky I'm only a few hours from Snowshoe - worst case scenario I can always take the trip out there for Thanksgiving weekend.

Ya, I saw. Sucks, was hoping they may take a chance and try to do something for Thanksgiving but that looks doubtful now. If poured all day here and through southern Vt.
