ive been on many blades hunter trips too. to tell you the truth, as far as the catskills go, i prefer windham. friendlier staff, better equip, lifts etc. ill still go to hunter in a pinch though. i really want to do mt snow and corinthia this season. i also am definitely going to do stratton. im thinking xmas in vermont. any one wanna join me?

god i just bought a brand new ride board and i wanna break it in. cant wait for the season to start.
im definately excited about the new trips that emilios has this yr. i usually go to okemo religiously. but really wasnt to check out gore and stratton. i heard that stratton has the steepest double black diamond in the Neast so def want to devirginize that trail

I WOULDNT MIND DRIVING BUT ITS THE SITTING IN TRAFFIC THAT KILLZ ME AFTER 8 HRS OF BOARDING. IN NYC, A 1 HR DRIVE CAN TURN INTO 3HRS AND TO ME ITS ESPECIALLY PAINFUL SINCE I DRIVE A 6 SPEED

From Staten Island also. If it is a close trip, like Mt Creek or Blue Mtn, i will drive. Going up to Hunter / Wyndham, I drive into Manhattan and hop on a bus in union square. Allows me to have a few beers after riding and catch a nap on the bus on the way back.

i drove to mt creek last yr when we had that one and only major snowfall. it snowed like 12 inches that day. the scariest part was driving home. you know that one big steep hill when u enter that 8 mile long road between the trees right off the hwy? some ass decides to go to a full stop and then i was sure my car would slide downhill into a tree or something
