Killington Open! Day 1 - Snowboarding Forum

killington opened today, it was pretty damn good, they had a top to bottom run from the gondola, a chair was running on the northridge area ... bumps, groomers, loose pow ... i was glad to see they made so much in such a short time frame

Damn I didnt know they had all that now , now im kind of pissed that I didnt go. I looked at the pics on the website and even the live MT cam and the runs looks like shit, you could see grass and rock poking thru so I decided to skip it. I think they are getting rained out this week also so 2 weeks will prob be my first killington day of this season,

That's not what the forecast says... looks like clear and 40s in the day time with overnight temps getting down to 25F wed, thur, fri so they should be able to crank out some more snow.

a bunch of my buddies went up and had a blast. I'll probably join them this week if the weather cooperates.
