Default Stratton or Mt Snow

My buddy and I are headin to Southern Vt this weekend. Looks like they're gonna get pounded this week. I'm tryin to decide which is better. We'll be in the parks a litle bit but mostly freeridin in some fresh pow. So which is it - Stratton or Mt Snow?

Mt snow IMO is alot better, but if your going to MT snow why not suck it up and drive another hr n change to the Beast Killington, alot bigger usually gets hit alot harder, better, LONGER, and more challenging terrain, and sick parks. Best Mt in the area. except for Jay peak but thats another 2.5 hrs North from killington

I'm a big fan of Killington but I'm not driving and I wanted to try something new. Been to Killington, Sunday River, and Okemo so far. All have kicked ass.

well then between the 2 def. mt snow. its a cool mt, nice relaxed chill type of vibe. doesnt get TOO crowded like killington. has some really fun runs, nothing crazy challenging tho, they have a cool mini pipe also if your into that. all in all I always had a good time at mt snow, you wont be dissapointed especially if they get snow like we all hope is comming.

Worker's Advantage didn't have any passes to Mt Snow so we ended up at Stratton. Bottom line - won't go there again and wouldn't recommend it. It is a good mountain with nice trails, however, there are a lot of other places I'd rather be. Didn't like the vibe from the customers or the workers. They couldn't get the lifts running - not entirely their fault but they implied all probs would be dealt with before Saturday. The exclusive passes that allow rich people to skip lift lines rubbed me the wrong way, as well as the fact that we couldn't start ridin til 830 bc we didn't have a special pass. Just not the vibe I'm looking for - too bad cuz the terrain is nice.
