Camelback on Monday was pretty sweet. There were about 4 nice sized Blues open as well as 2 greens and about 3 Blacks. The snow wasnt the greatest but it was definitely better than the sand like man made stuff that was covering Blue Mnt.

The lift lines were surprisingly decent especially for a federal holiday.

O and the Park was open and looked pretty good. Didn't get my park pass yet so i couldn't tell you first hand

Vermont tonight till Sunday though! So pumped.

Thanks for these updates. I personally really just don't care much for Blue, but a friend of mine loves it there for some reason so that's the only time I go.

Have had plans to hit up Camelback this week but I've been home sick I'm still hoping to feel up to it for Friday but that's wishful thinking.

And FP4F: I did the CBK park pass video and test online so I can just print it out ahead of time. Maybe you can do that? Oh and have fun in VT!!

Looks like we might finally get a little bit of snow friday night into saturday. Any weather gurus know which mtns will get the most snow? From what Ive read it sounds like Blue Mtn. and Camelback area resorts will get the most snow while places further north like Elk will see smaller amounts. Anyone have an opinion on how this storm might set up?

I was at Blue last night from 5 - 10. The night started out as "dust on crust" but improved as the night went on. Around 8:30 or so the conditions got much better, loosened up a bit. Last Saturday it was better than last night, I guess that one warm day and some rain this week did a number on Blue. I haven't made it to Bear yet, which is my normal Thursday spot but chose Blue because I was hoping it would have faired better with the weather.

Did Big Boulder this morning, then went over to Jack Frost around noon. It was my first time at these places and they're much smaller than I thought. Conditions were great, but took a turn around 3pm when the ice base started poking out in some center areas. I'm not sure of the normal traffic, but the place seemed pretty empty to me. The longest I had to wait on any line was maybe 5 people deep. Overall a good day, but I think my 2h trip would have been better spent at Montage. Also saw A LOT of people getting hurt. Saw some kid in a motorcycle helmet knock himself out in the park. I didn't catch the jump, but found him laying on the ground. Kid right below him ran over to help and I directed traffic.

^Whoa, hope that kid is okay.

Was at Camelback Thursday and Saturday nights; Sunday night (tonight) at Blue.

Thursday was disappointing, in that I forgot how machine made snow is crap. Saturday was better with the recent snowfall but towards the end of the night, the middle of most of the runs were super slick. I was grateful I had magne to back me up.

The conditions and crowd at Blue pleasantly surprised me. It was a fun time, despite one of my friends crashing into me. Oy. His edge nailed my shins hard. The one is way swollen and he gouged out a good chunk of flesh and drew blood. At least he didn't slam my board (is what I was thinking as I prepared for impact). My shins will heal haha. And now I figure I can take a rail or box mishap to my shins

Hope the cold temps stick around and that we don't get much rain this coming week.
