Pennsylvania 2010/2011 Thread - Snowboarding Forum

I see some other states have their own threads...hopefully we can all keep each other up to date on the local mountains and maybe even get some little meets together. Feel free for random chatter too as I know it's nice getting to know a little about people before meeting them.

I live and work in Lancaster, PA...bought my board in February of 08. Roundtop is the closest mountain for me but I plan on getting to plenty of different places this year. So far I've stayed out of the parks but wouldn't mind trying it if there was someone there to say this is where you screwed up and/or why you busted your ass!

I'll be at roundtop on a regularly basis....have a definite trip planned to jack frost/big boulder on January 23rd. May even be able to get all day $40 lift tickets for anyone interested. It would also include rentals and lessons which really makes it a good deal but doubt anyone here would need that!

So lets hear how the slopes are...

yo i live in york and go to roundtop at least 3 days a week... place has been nice so far this year.

I was living there until this year....was about 20 minutes away (in dover) before I moved closer to work. I'm hoping they pump out a good amount of snow tonight. Still plan on getting the night club card tomorrow night and going out for a bit!

Getting closer and closer to 100% open!

I'm in Delaware, but go to Blue Mountain pretty frequently. I'm trying to go up this Sunday if anyone wants to meet up

I'm also a Blue Mountain regular. Going up tomorrow and Wednesday AM if anybody wants to meet up. I'm there all the time anyway. Green ak jacket, grey pants, grey Bern helmet, typically on a Never Summer SL.

I live in Lancaster too...but i usually end up riding at bear creek...occasionally ski roundtop, and i was hoping to get a few other places in this year.

I'd like to get to to blue and bear along with liberty or white tail....plus maybe a day at camelback or mountain creek, NJ. If I can get most of that in I'll be very happy

Im a regular at blue mt, spend sometime at bear creek. Blue is the best buck in Pa in my opinion

roundtop was decent....no major ice spots like I've seen before. Hit up every open trail except lafayettes leap. my ass kept falling on upper ramrod so still need some work lol
