well, the snow was nice, barely any ice but perhaps that is attributed to the snowstorm we had wednesday. there were also alot of ppl waiting to get on the lifts but thats probably because of mlk day. haha, all in all, a worthless post. Oh, the food there was surprisingly good. and i liked that it was really close to the highway so minimal backroads involved. i would go again.
oh again. apparently the lift ticket for jack frost can be used at their sister mountain big boulder for free in the evenings. so think 8am to 10pm snowboarding unfortunately i was too tired to check out big boulder. might go to hunter next week.
yea Hunter sounds like the place to be. I kinda fuked up my leg last weekend.. Pulled a muscle, still hurts like crazy sometimes. Hopefully it gets better by next weekend.
Yea i usually recover pretty quick by midweek usually... This one is lingering tho.. Might to to the Doc. Hunter sounds good tho ill prop just go and take it easy...
yea ive been hittin the park a lot... my boy who i always go with broke a tendon in his thumb..Hes gonn have surgery this week... Hopefully my injury isnt a seson ender. Def taking it easy next time i go out..
lol yea, i'm too chicken to do that. i'm still struggling on blacks, and occasionally fall on blues heh. i've already decided when i can rock blacks, i'll work on switch, and then ground tricks and thats it. dont have enough lives for park
man i caught a heel edge and slid head first some 15 feet down the mountain today.. all that nice powder went right into my pants. not a pleasant occurrence  i havn't decided yet which i prefer, snow in the pants or a quick hard bump on some ice. perhaps its time to invest in a pair of butt padding
whats a snow skirt? how does it work?
i've only gone 3 times. but some random guy i took the lift with said that the black in jack frost is like a normal double blue.
ahh, i bought my pantsonline. it was supposed to be compatible with my jacket, but my jacket has buttons while the pants have a zipper. oh well. perhaps when the knees get shredded i'll buy suspenders
yep, looking to go at least twice amonth. got my own board now, so gotta make it be worthwhile
i just gotta find someone who likes blues to go boarding with now. while i appreciate ppl pushing me to go to the blacks, i really want to work on linking turns more smoothly. i still cant get the board to slow down in a pretty way. i seem to be slipping down half the mountain just alternating edges lol
Don where in queens are you? I came back from thunder ridge last wed and saw people unloading their jeep across the street from me. Caught a pow day for only $20 bucks. Can't beat that even if it is a small mountain. I learned switch that day so it was well worth it. Not to mention they got 18 inches that day.

Im kinda pissed and frustrated.. Hopefully its not season ending.. Im more than likely goin to hunter on sunday tho..
yea man i think im beyond streching at this point.... It was towrds the end of a great day when it happend.. Yea i went shyt was killing me.. Yea i live in briarwood, i say kew gardens cuz no one ever knows where briarwood is. lol
Wassup yall. New rider here as well. I live out by Rosedale. This is gonna be my first real season riding. Only been a couple times before. Planning on going to Okemo via one of those Emilio's bus trips next weekend. Anyone ever been?
A friend of mine lives near there, she's right by snake road. Haven't taken a bus trip yet, I like the freedom and options when I drive. Then again it's nice to sleep on the way up and back but my snoring would bother people lol.
There was a park there? lol All I saw was some people trying to dig up the rails they had at the bottom.
I'll be checking the weather reports and will probably be doing a day trip on Friday, either Camelback or Hunter/Windham, not sure which yet.
