Default Boston Snowboard Expo

Its Nov. 10 - Nov. 13 have any of you ever gone or plan on going this year?

BEWI Ski & Snowboard Expos

I've never been to a snowboard expo. I'm assuming you can get some deals on gear, but would it be worth traveling up from CT to Boston for this? Or could I get the same deals online?

Really depends on what you're looking for... The best deals are found on the last day, but by then much of the best stuff is gone. (I went on a Thursday night one year and bought a travel bag, and by Sunday that bag was an additional 30% off!) Also, from what I've seen in past years, all the discounts are on last year's equipment/outerwear, so you probably could get a similar/better deal if you have the wherewithall to purchase now.

That said, I'll still probably go, if only to speak with the trip providers and resort reps, and check out the booths with the new gear/technology.

Yah the only day I can go is Sunday, so hopefully I will be able to find a couple of good deals.
