Anyone ever used these guys? They have day and weekend trips to Stowe. For weekend trips they have a pick in the city from 6th Ave btwn 20th-21st on Fri evening and return late on Sunday. I saw them linked from Emilio's website.
I've taken the Emilio's bus to VT a couple times and have no complaints so if they recommend it I wouldn't worry. The weekend trips sound dope though, I may take one. Were you able to find the price for them at all?
^ That's nuts. I paid 375 for a weekend trip there with my school. It was during that huge storm they got. Three feet in three days, it was so sick, especially from being from WNY.
That's what our trip was, got there late Fri night and then rode Sat. and Sun. then left right from the resort. It dumped a foot on Friday and then Saturday morning again. Then Sunday it dropped a foot two. It was crazy.
Considering their daily lift ticket is around $90 ($180 total) that leaves $95 for transportation and lodging. Doesn't seem bad at all. That's assuming the prices stay the same.
If the price is the same, then yes. The worst part about living in NY or further South (like me in MD) and riding VT is the lack of sleep trying to do weekend trips. With the bus ride, you can zonk the whole way home and on the way up.
Hay Jason, we will be dropping the schedule in about a week. As soon as we do I'll shoot you a email with the overnight schedule and the day trip schedule. Hope'n for a great season!
That was a Great trip! Lots of tree runs and got to hit the park with the Burton team! But that price was not the weekend price they gave me a good deal since it was a monday tuesday trip(we left sunday night). If there are people that want to go I will put another weekday trip together first monday and tuesday of march, and The season overnight schedule will be posted in about a week! Also day trips every weekend!
