Hello!

Coming down from Toronto to check out PA outlets and maybe woodbury :D

Just wondering can anyone point me in the right direction to some good board shops in town? or around that area...

The prices in Canada are pretty crappy :(

I have only ever been to one decent store
Retail Store Locations Buckmans Ski Shop - Burton Snowboard Equipment & Apparel, Anon, Salomon

you might be able to check out an REI that does snowboards/ski
REI Store - Conshohocken/Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania - Sporting Goods, Camping Gear

if you are ordering online check out these links:

try comparing prices on the sites of the retail stores (uses their site) to the online stores

What in specific are you looking for? There is a shop that is fairly new in Middletown, NY that has some gear. The owner is great and personable and I can check out what he has before you come to see if he can get what you want. Also, there are a bunch of little shops in PA by Blue Mountain (Allentown, PA area) as well as some more established ones like Pelican Snowboard shops and Buckmans. I am more than willing to help you out if you let me know what you are looking for!

Well...I'm pretty much a noob looking for a good all round mountain board...

I already own everything expect for the board and bindings and trying to find something decent that will last me 2-3 season before advancing to something more...

Buckmans has shops all around Philadelphia.
Wicks has a shop in Exton about 30 min west of philadelphia and in concord, just 30 minutes southwest of philadelphia.
Stowe has a shop about 45 minutes northwest of philadelphia, just north of Pottstown.

Those are your best bet for PA based Philadelphia board shops. From what i can tell, Wicks in Exton is the best when it comes to knowledge. Buckmans is good too but alot of their employees don't know too much.

You can also say that "this shop" offers this much and every one of the three will match the competitors prices.

I just got your PM. The man above hit every location on the head in that area. Depending when you are coming down, there are some small shops in allentown PA near Blue Mountain. As for food, they are all good in Philly. Definately get a cheese steak from Geno's or Pat's. Sooooo goood.
