Up on the first post we should get a count going on who's 100% in and see what we have in a few days and see if it would be realistic and then plan from there.

I'm in for a Friday or weekend date. Does the mountain have a park?

That's an understatement.
Someone would basically have to collect money from everyone else and make the payment to Plattekill ahead of time.

Yeah.
Also, what are the 'rules'? no kids? no first timers?

Either way I'd be in, and I could probably get a few more people depending on when we do that, but I'd have to ask.

Someone would have to pay it out of pocket and hope everyone who commits here will pay them.

Try this: ChipIn
ChipIn does not charge any fees to organizers and contributors of events that send payments directly to the Organizerís PayPal account. However, PayPal Premier or Business accounts may be subject to fees from PayPal.
And if you don't get enough money/participants I think you can just refund everyone.

Other things to consider:

A weekend day would be much better, but is that even an option? And if yes at what price?
What are the hours of operation of the mountain?
Will everything be opened? All lifts & Trails? Places to get food?
Who's liable in case something bad happens?
