Why is almost every mountain in the northeast over $80 for a lift ticket this year? ....and with no snow to show for it!

80 bucks is alot to shell out for some sea level bumps with manmade slush pushed around on em.

100+ here in CO seems steep, but you add VALUE to the equation and tourists here are getting a steal and you definitely are getting ripped the fuck off.

Wolf Creek has had arguably one of the best seasons of anyone this year and it only cost $54.

Ya no shit man lol, I've got my lil local mountain red lodge mountain mt, 49 for a tik 42 if u purchase in billings. But anyways my point being red lodge has has some 140"+ awesome pow days. Then we've got big sky resort the largest in the lower 48 87 for a tik there, and there r just now catching up with red lodge for pow. In other words go with the snow. This year hopefully ill be able to save up enought to do some snowcat boarding in the big sky area. Since there really is no heli boarding service in mt or even relativly close. But I've done my research and for the savings of the snowcat ride compared to heli its deff worth the sacrifice

im with you dude. im going to killington and i have to shell out 300$ just for me an my gf and most trails aren't even fucking open...what gives?

Get a pass next season! So much cheaper.
REsorts are desperate with the lack of snow and have to squeeze whoever gets there.

End of the year season pass purchase is always the way to go. I got mine for camelback in PA for 199 and already have gone 5 times

Yep got screwed at killington this year as well. Bought a two day pass for 80 bucks a day and only got to Ride the first day. Live and learn I guess.

Same here. The most frustrating thing about Killington were the accommodations. I asked for a late checkout and was just told No straight up. You cant check in til 530 and you have to be out at 10:30. Then they told me if i dont return those plastic douchie key cards its $35 per card.

Its a fucking rip.
