Official 2011/2012 Pennsylvania thread

First real snow of the season here in PA!
Gonna go shred a few inches of powder.

Hoping that the rain for this week turns to snow I want more of this. First snow of the entire season.

yeah dude seriously. i got to take a few laps down a big hill near my house on the october storm, but thats been it for the natural stuff this year. la nina is a cunt.

Is the season over for PA? 58* yesterday, currently 51*, high tomorrow is supposed to be 43* and the overnight low is only 32*, no snow making weather in the 5 day forecast and every day in the 10 day the forecast high is above freezing. Tussey Mountian is toast for sure...I'm 20 door to lift, have season passes and have only been out about 8 times. Not one single day with good conditions...even when it did snow.

This season has SUCKED!

^Agreed chopper, I've barely made it two weeks into my snowboarding class at Penn State and I'm doubtful as to whether or not I'm going to make it halfway through with the warm weather atm.

This season totally blows.

Does any one have any info about how Elk Mountain is right now? seems cold there and good snow making, also all there trails are open with around a 20" base. Im thinking about going there this weekend just wanted to see if anyone has been there in the past two weeks or so.

Tussey was looking pretty bad when I went to work there yesterday. The mountain is closed today. Not sure how much longer they are going to be able to be open.

Figures we would have a shitty winter when I got a whole new setup and was the most excited I've ever been for it.
