Yo, so I'm coming up to Franconia, NH for a snowboarding trip from 2/3-2/10. Gotta come up by myself though, friends all got work and $hit.
I figure I'll take turns hitting Cannon, Bretton Woods and Loon. Figure I cant go wrong - any mountain up there has gotta be worlds apart from the hills and packed ice we got near Maryland. Anyways, just wanted to ask if anyone has any suggestions/advice. On mountains to visit/avoid or anything else. Also, since I'm coming up solo, it'd be cool to meet some people/locals and hang out with anyone who might be around, grab a brew after some runs, 420, chilling, you know, same old. I'm 23 y/o, a dude and graduated college recently (math/econ major); I tutor kids and teach SAT prep for a living; people describe me as low key n chill. I got a room @ Mittersill Alpine Lodge so that's where I'll be. Yeah so, interwebs, I now invite your infinite wisdom and company. |

Sucks bout that rain. The weather's looking promising for the coming week, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for smore fresh pow.
Yeah Mittersill's in the thick of it; dunno what to expect but I got some deal for like $250 for 6 nights. Can't really complain with that. |
