I think they're taking it easy making snow half because of the weather and also because next weekend is a holiday weekend so they'll want it real nice for that and blow mad snow leading up to it.

They are making it tomorrow night though. Conditions were pretty good again today. Sun was shining and helped soften up everything.

Ok so 18" in the last week and 6=10 more on the way in the next day or two. I'm psyched to get up there but what are the chances that freezing rain forecasted for Saturday will turn to snow or just miss or something. That will be a shitty first day on the mountain and I would hate for it to kill what I assume are currently fantastic snow conditions.

Not looking good. Friday should be amazing though if you can get there.

FUK!!! We drive up on Friday from PA....taking son out of school early as it is. Hopefully it isn't bad and doesn't kill the conditions too badly as we will be there until Wednesday.

Killington trip day one. EPIC!!! 3" of fresh last night on top of nearly 2 feet they have gotten in the last week. Whatever you do don't come to Killington for the next 3 days...because I don't want lift lines.

Well I heard it was warm there today...but it was -5 F on Monday morning...we waited to hit the slopes until 10:00 that day to allow it to warm up. I typically wear a base layer plus one other layer and my coat. I will switch coats depending on how cold it is...when it is this cold I go with my T.Rice signature collection Quicksilver jacket and pants which are insulated. They are VERY warm and with a neck gator that was all I needed. On the warmer days I wear Burton Cargo pants which aren't insulated with shorts under and a Burton jacket also not insulated. I will vary the 2nd layer depending on the actual temp to get that right.

I'm back home now but that was a blast...though I was reading in another thread that other resorts got even more snow from the storms in the last two weeks.
