places near rhode island?

so a bunch of my best friends are moving to rhode island for law school and i plan on making lots of trips up by them this winter. what are the best mountains for people who like to mix it up between park and freeriding within 2 hours or so? how far is the drive to killington from there?

Wachusett is your best bet for anything of reasonable size - 1.5 hours from Providence. Killington is 3-3.5 hours give or take using Providence as a reference. They are definitley not moving to the mecca of snowboarding for law school, that's for sure.

There is one mountain (valley actually) in RI and that's Yagoo. Blue Hills in Canton is another option, but both of these places are very small.
