Well they started blowing all day yesterday and are getting some real snow for the second time right now. If they keep blowing I wonder if they can open for the weekend.

Back to Huntin' or Killin'

Stress breaking me by Thursday and thinking of taking off Friday...:icon_scratch:

Both Hunter and Kill may have early morn snow with rain to the tail end. Technically, rain has never made a day on the snow so much of a bummer that I didnt want to ride so I'll take the forecast with a grain of salt.

The coverage of Killington would be better than Hunter but are any of the lower VT mts sporting good coverage (e.g. Snow, Stratton?) I dont even really bother to check them and just drive the additional hour to Kill.

If anyone is out there today, let me know how it's running. Thx

I was up last Friday after the 13"+ storm and conditions were EPIC. The place was beyond packed though. Up here for a few days and decided to hit Pico yesterday. Conditions were great with waist-chest high pow in some spots in the glades. I was at Killington today and conditions were once again excellent. It was very windy in some places and a few trails were blown off down to ice. The trees were epic with fresh pow all over the place. It was lightly snowing all day and started to pick up a little as I was leaving. Nothing crazy, but should be a nice refresh for tomorrow. I'll be up again tomorrow and possibly Sunday if I decide not to head back early. Here is a photo from the Patsys glades today:

Somewhere and Nowhere are pretty mellow glades. I'd stay away from Anarchy. Other than that, I still haven't been through alot of them! There are glades over on Ramshead too you should check out, that whole area is pretty mellow, those should be pretty easy. Look for the Ramshead Express Quad on the trail map all the way to the right, they're around there.
