2012 Opening Days - Who is going and where?
 

So looks like opening day is coming up for a lot of the north east resorts. Anyone planning on hitting the slopes that day?

I'm eyeing the Stowe opening on Nov 17. Cold front came through yesterday and will stick around for a couple more days and might even drop some inches. Hoping conditions stay like this for the next couple weeks.

well in michigan im hoping the southeast part will be open by the first weekend of december...i hope cuz i waxed me and my lil bros boards ive tightened my bindings got my coat my snow pants and a new helmet and im hoping black ops 2 will be a decent game to help me stay sane till opening day...

Killington opens up tomorrow, but I don't plan on getting up there until Sunday. Hopefully they are top-to-bottom by then.

Yeah I saw that. They had some pics up on their FB page. Contemplating if its worth a full price ticket - did you get a season pass?

Ya, I have a pass so it's a no brainer for me. Last year I was able to ride from open-noonish and not feel bad about wasting money. If it sucks I can get a few runs in and leave.

Heading out of the country next week. Hopefully Killy will have a decent base by the time I get back. I may make a weekend trip up in 2 weeks or so.

Whistler opening day is on the 22nd, I get there on the 24th... So I'll be on the mountain the 24th. lol

Although I have read that they might open early since they have gotten some good snow down already.
