Snowboarding lessons - late time slot?

Hi,

I'm working in the Burlington, VT area and thought that while I'm here, I would learn snowboarding. I tried to ski last time at another location without any lessons and that didn't work out too well  I figured, snowboarding may be similar especially since I know nothing much about it.

I looked at a couple of places online so far and it looks like they only give lessons around 10AM and 1PM. Are there any places near Burlington that have evening lessons? Preferably during the weekday since I fly back home for the weekends.

Thanks.

You know nothing about learning to ride? From what I've heard, snowboarding is harder to learn than skiing, but then again, I've never skied before. Do yourself a favor and check out some of the tutorials on YouTube so you kinda know what you're to expect on your first day.

Just walking out on the mountain and strapping in won't work very well. Especially if you have no prior experience with anything similar. Try calling the mountain and seeing if they have any late slots or if any of their instructors are allowed to stay late and teach. If so, you may need to pay a little more but it could work.

If not, you could always try to get acquainted with someone who knows how to teach and pay them "unofficially". lol
