I don't think it'd be an issue but tweet at them and ask! They're pretty responsive on Twitter. Also, they stopped at a gas station with a Vermont liquor outlet on the way back - someone got a huge box of liquor/wine to take home. We all thought that was pretty funny.

Yeah, you can definitely bring your own beer. They have a big cooler full of beer for the ride back as well. Sometimes its a cooler of PBR, sometimes its something nicer like Lagunitas. They usually make a party pit stop on the way back as well.

Usually get back to NYC pretty late, like 10:30-11, especially if the roads are bad.

yea I agree emilio is definetly seeing this as a job, they take you they bring you back that's it not much fun going on, ovrride people are much laid back, they give free beers this is really great after a long day

could any of you NYC locals give me a suggestion on which bus departure location would be best when coming up from jersey? cheap & easy parking would be a plus!

I'd definitely say one of the Brooklyn locations as you could potentially find street parking. Stay away from the Union Square and Upper East Side stops.

if you are coming from New Jersey you want to be on the west side of manhattan (i am in queens so I take the bus from East Side)

also Ovrride is 5 dollar cheaper than Emilio, idk but I used to use Emilio's and they didn't used to charge that blabla fee, now they have a surcharge fee, so for windham instead of 85 you pay 90 and i don't know why.

You aren't the only one lol.
Between the two I think Ovr has the better set up. If you have people with you that need rentals or lessons you can pay for all of that at once through Ovrride's website. With Emilios you can only pay for the bus and lift. Anything else has to either be dealt with on your own at the resort or you have to rent from Emilios which requires you coming in to the shop to get fitted a coupe days before.
As for that $5 surcharge, Emilios only charges that if you book you bus ticket with less than 5 days before the trip. Otherwise its only $99.

brucew - parking is easiest to find on the westside around 9th, 10th and 11th Ave. Otherwise you are looking at utilizing one of the NY parking lots which would cost you somewhere like $30. Then meet at the Blades West location that "vknyvz" mentioned

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. Do you know of any of these 30 dollar lots or a place to look them up. I don't want to be wondering around lost early in the AM if I cant find a street side spot.
