Looking to head up from NYC early Jan..Anyone want to join me?
Hey all,
Im a lone Aussie here in NYC for work and looking to head up to Vermont either first or second weekend of Jan. I was already in Stowe last weekend and enjoyed it, looking to head to Jay Peak this time. Happy to hire car or go by plane but would be great if I can find some people to head up and hit the park with...Hit me up if anyone is interested... |
Hmm, sounds interesting, but I don't do park, and wouldn't go to jay or stowe to do so. Does sound interesting though, on Long Island and have ride with snow tires.

If you are keen and know of a decent spot, dont hold back, spit it out  Im new around here so happy to listen to those who know... |
If you can't find anyone to go with, here are some sites I use for bus trips.
Constant Contact EventSpot Snowbirds Ski Tours >> Long Island Bus Trips >> January 2013 Browse our Ski Trips for Long Island, NY None of them go to Jay Peak but Stratton, Okemo, Killington and Mount Snow are nice mountains. Mount Snow is ~3:30 hours from the city and has a good park. |

I would say the majority of people are in their 20's - mid 30's. You have all types of riders and skiers. I've gone twice this season and we had almost a full bus both times. You ride on a coach bus. They play movies on the way back but I would suggest bringing a laptop or something you can charge your phone with because you will get bored.

My buddies and I usually leave from nyc and go to camelback, hunter mountain or windham. For longer trips, we do go to vermont but unfortunately for you, not on weekends. If you wanna tag along on our weekday trips, feel free to pm me. Were always looking for ppl to split gas with lol
