Mt. Hood Meadows

Hey my name is Gannon I wanted to start this thread to start networking with others who are going to Meadows. I'm going to be camping a few days week up at the mountain while I work at Meadows. Hoping to meet some people who want to get together for some barbeques in the lot or at government camp. Im going to be fishing the sandy for steelhead to bbq also if people are interested.

Mountain should be nice this year and some good fresh food makes it even better.

meadows is a pretty sweet resort for freeriding (and has parks), timberline is good for park (and is flat and boring for freeriding)

yes its worth it. there are busses from ptown if you don't want to drive.

if you ride eastcoast/midwest both are but for sure meadows is much better than anything you have out there.

Thanks Shred!

One concern I had was the drive there, but the busses sound perfect! I gotta look that up.

My other concern is, I whip a TRice HP 157 on the east coast.. Do you think that's too short for the Midwest, or do you think I'll be fine? I'm 5'11'' 180..

Thanks bro!

also, skibowl (lower on the mt, across the highway from government camp) is the largest nightskiing area in the country... if there is a good base by the time you get here its worth checking out. old, slow lifts for the most part but its got good cliffs and fun little parks
