Default Mt Bachelor 4th of July weekend + questions

So I just found out that Mt Bachelor is going to be open 4th of July weekend for some summertime riding, I'm guessing due to the crazy record amount of snow that they got this year.

Mt Bachelor - Buzz

I'll actually be down in Bend that weekend for a wedding so I plan on checking it out, but I'll probably be going solo so I'm kinda trying to see whats up beforehand.

It looks like Summit Express will be running and the mailer says there will be little to no grooming, so I'm curious what to expect. The map shows blue and double black runs up there, but I know that difficulty levels can really vary from mountain to mountain and even from run to run so I have no idea what to expect. A comparison to runs at Timberline/Meadows would be ideal but I'll take any input at this point!

Also, anyone who has been to Bachelor or even Bend at all -- any places I should check out or avoid? I'll be up Friday and might want to do some sightseeing/drinking/hiking too
