Pink Floyd was playing on my jukebox and then i made a video. kind of all in that order..

some of ME funner moments from last season riding the Northwest Backcountry.

p.s. yo mods/admins - change the BBcode to allow 640 rez vid embedding.. much more appealing! hit me up if you need code help

aplummer, almost all the darker clips that i had to lighten up (you notice these in that video) were contour footage. all the rest was a Cannon HD or mostly a GoPro just sayin..

wondering about some of the settings i was using then as i always found the contour to be slightly over saturated and the go pro slightly the other way. i think a lot of helmet cams footage lies with the user. i think i may stop debating helmet cams as i can't see a hands down winner. they all seems to have their faults.

anyway i like the video. far better than most that posted without much thought.

yeah, they both have different issues for sure. and like i said in the other thread, if you can edit and learn how to touch up clips then they are both great cameras! I like all the mounting options of the GoPro, i have mounts on my snowmobile, the chest mount, tripod mount to pole. i rarely use it as a helmet cam.. (I hate POV footage!!!) makes me sick!

Oneshot, can you link me to the video you are trying to embed? Not sure if we can do it or not. Might be something I have to put through to the site owners. We'll play with it.

the totally radical vid above
(OSP - Oneshot WinterTenEleven - Riding the Northwest Backcountry Powder on Vimeo)

i did this for the PHPBB Forum i run, not sure what software this forum runs on though.

here is the code i used, it doesn't need to be exact to mine (just an example) you can call out the size to use. and since everyone shoots in HD now adays the 640 embed sizes are ideal!
