thats exactly what we did too. didnt get over to the good stuff until the end of the day and we only got to runs through it before it got closed for the day. with the shitty coverage i thought there was no way that part of the mountain was going to have enough snow to ride, but it had more than any other part of the mountain. do'h

Heard rumors of super light Utah-like pow at Stevens yesterday. I wouldn't know though, I woke up dizzy as shit yesterday morning and never made it out the door. I'll make up for it this week...

Yo, I'm headed out to SEA-TAC tomorrow for work this week. I have Wednesday off
The forecast looks completely off the hook! I'm headed to Stevens on Wednesday (2nd time there)... Stoked!! I can finally bust out a pow deck.

Anyone want to meet up?

Thursday up north looks promising...look at those temps...fr^%$#%^@%$^#$%$^ got to work. If that happens you'll need the pooper deck, puke gogs, snorkle gear and pray a local will give you the tour and that you got the legs to keep up.

Wednesday Night: Snow. Low around 11. South wind between 6 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 22 to 28 inches possible

Thursday: Snow. High near 26. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 12 to 18 inches possible.

One of the best forecasts I've ever seen at Stevens.....

Quote:
Today: Snow showers. High near 15. West wind between 15 and 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow. Low around 7. West wind between 9 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Wednesday: Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 7. East southeast wind between 10 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 17 to 23 inches possible.

Wednesday Night: Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 5. East southeast wind 9 to 14 mph becoming west. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 16 to 22 inches possible.

Thursday: Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 23. West wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.

Thursday Night: Snow. Low around 18. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Friday: Snow. High near 28. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
Could be scary deep. I'm planning on heading up Thursday, but starting to worry about HWY-2 and possible avalanche closures on Thursday morning.

Was randomly looking for snow on Snow-Forecast. Saw that White Pass Village in Washington is getting 23, 48, 44, 16, 21, 20, 13cm for each day respectively the next 7 days.

I need to move.
