Tahoe Region

Traveling to the Tahoe area in late February.. Well, Reno, but with some snowboarding excursions. Anyone know what mountains are good right now? I've been staring at snow reports and it seems like they've had a bad season for snow...

Nothing's good right now, if your in Reno it might be easier to hit the resorts on the north side like squaw, alpine or northstar, I was at squaw last Sunday, not much coverage still got rocks sticking out.

It's hard to say, last year all of January and the first week or two in feburary it didn't snow at all, then it dumped last half of February and march. I fallow tahoeweatherdiscussion.com for forcasts. If your coming late this month you might have a chance for some fresh snow, but the next week or two doesn't look good.

Accually if I was you, I would try and go up north to Oregon or Washington, Mt. Hood has a 100" base!
