I heard something about Mt. High and Baldy too. Saw pictures of Baldy and that place looks gnarly with snow.

Summit is a lot smaller than bear also. I rode summit all my 1st season with a season pass and the past two years I've been riding bear. Went back to summit once this season and couldn't believe how small it is compared to bear. There are mellow park features at Bear, stick to what they call "Progression Park" and you'll be set. Have fun Leo, check out the steep stuff in the morning as they get cut up and iced over pretty badly during the afternoon.

Thanks everyone for your input. I will ride at Bear if we go... my in-laws are now having second thoughts, but my bro-in-law keeps saying that we will sneak away from the ladies and kids. He has more reason to go now that I'm passing one of my boards on to him. I freshly waxed and cleaned it and tagged a photo of it on Facebook

I'll post again once we get a date. Looks like weather will be spring-like so I'm hoping for some slush laps since a chance of snow is slim-to-none.

Decided to bring my Proto as well. It'll be more versatile for me because I know I'm going to want to explore the mountain outside of the park. Don't want to be stuck on a steep run with the Evo!
