Anyone want to meet up at Crystal this weekend? It's possibly the last weekend it'll be open. I've been going for the past four weeks. Only three lifts are open, and much of the base area has dried up, but it has still been a blast with what is available.

Heh, it was raining and foggy last week, and like a total jackass I left my goggles and hardshell in the car and was too lazy to go back - so it could have been better. Even worse, I did the same last year on one of the last days there
![]() At some points I was just using The Force with no visibility whatsoever... Which was fun, I admit. Not sure if I can make it this weekend. I want to, but have family commitments. How would I find you if I get there? ps. If I can come, I will - regardless of rain. And bseracka has several beers from me - who can forget his dogfunk discount code share! |

Cool! If anyone is interested in riding with me text and/or call me at 312-404-0211 and let me know you're on the way out there, where/when you can meet etc.. We can probably meet up at the top of the Gondola/Rainier Express.
I'll shoot to be out there Sat and Sunday by 11am-ish, but possibly earlier. There is like a 25-30 min window where I don't get a cell phone signal until I get there, but I'll check VM/Messages upon arrival. |

"Holy shit" is right. This is my first season of snowboarding, I became addicted and its been soooooo nice to still be riding at a resort. This might be the last weekend though, so I might have to start heading up to Mt. Hood.

They'll be open much longer than just this weekend. Gauranteed through the 24th, probably longer if this ridiculously cold weather sticks around. The only problem is that they'll probably be shutting down Rex soon, which means you get to hike up from Green Valley any time you want to hit the lodge. Fun eh?
I'm there every day they're open, usually throwing myself off of the jump line that's scattered through lucky shot. Bright ass orange jacket, Bright ass green pants, can't miss me. |
