I dunno about the rest of you guys, but I'm really starting to get anxious for this season to get here. So where's everyone planning on riding? I decided against a season pass this year as I'm planning on spending around half my days splitboarding instead of resort riding. Plus, I have more fun chasing the snow and riding as many places as I can. Taking my first trip to Silverton and maybe Revy this year too.

Ok guys and gals, STOKE AWAY!

No season pass for me either, only a pass that allows me a discount for daily lift tickets. The hills here are too small for me to dedicate to 1 hill for riding all season. Plus, I'm a weekend warrior (or call-in-sick-to work-warrior) anyway.

I have a week trip planned for Jackson Hole in mid-January which I'm absolutely stoked for. :)

My goal last year was 50 days and I got it. My goal this year is 100 days and I'm ready. I could have done 100 last year without my leg break.

Our boards have been waxed and ready for a month. My plan is to do a weekend drive up to Jackson, a few days in Tahoe, at least 4-5 days in wolf creek.... Split the other 90 between breck, vail, keystone, abasin and the beav..... Probably 60 in vail......

My son got 140 days at vail resorts last season with 20 at other mtns. He has been in training mode for 3 months and is up to 3 hours a day, 5 days a week of crossfit, trail running, yoga and other fitness shit. That doesn't include the sometimes 5 hours of mtn biking or hiking he does with my wife and I a couple days a week. I also try to do an hour of yoga about 4 days a week. my wife walks 8 miles on her round trip to work every day, 4 days a week.....

We are ready and waiting for wolf creeks opening day. We will be driving down for it again this year.....

We had record snowfall in the Canadian Rockies last year. Sunshine opens on November 7th. I plan on being there. If I turn my 2012 libtech into a rock board....so be it! I need vertical and I need it badly. These late night trips to the snowboards shops with my kid are hard on the pocket book. Watched some good snowboard vid with my bud on the weekend. Lots of fun. 1 more month.

Well, I'll be riding around here, Thompson Pass and the Valdez area. Hopefully we'll also make it over to Turnagain Pass, which I haven't been to, and maybe Summit Lake up closer to Fairbanks (where they hold Arctic Man). There should be decent to excellent riding from late October until early June, and I'm probably going to be off work from late November until mid March, so it should be easy to get 100 days in this year. Only problem is that there aren't many tree runs for flat-light days (which we get a lot of), since treeline is around 2500 feet.

I'm super excited to have a splitboard now and be able to get uphill faster and (hopefully) more easily. I can't wait to start trying some bigger runs, and to be able to get more runs in each day.

Whoops, just noticed this was in the NW region forum. Well, we're pretty far northwest anyways.

Most likely no season pass this yr, but will do most of my riding at Crystal & Alpental as usual with some Stevens & Baker sprinkled in there. Maybe some night riding too. Will do the annual bro trip to Bachelor of course. Also planning the annual big trip for Utah this year (did different areas of CO twice this last few years).

Just got some new gear.....and scoping out boots. Stoked on the MT. Hardware shell I got for half price. Bought the best one they had.

Season pass to Meadows. Almost did the weekday pass to Meadows and the full fusion pass for myself and the family, but decided against that. I really hate being stuck to one resort, but if I have to be stuck it might as well be the best resort in my area.

Going to Utah in March for 7 days. Saw it snowed there the other day.

Go to Bachelor at least twice a year.

Can't wait for the snow!

I got my Snoqualmie season pass with the 5 Crystal days included. I'm also deciding between the 5-day or 10-day Edge card because of a lot groups of friends who want to go up. And for the last 3 years, I've been telling myself that I'm going to visit Baker, but never actually got around to it. I'm going to visit Baker this year.

I'm right there with ya on this one. I was searching for boarding moies on netflix yesterday after dinner, choices really not good ended up watching some 2nd rate movie called "Chalet Girl" which really made me want to go watch a legit movie even more. I have tons of legit movies on my desktop PC (itunes) but hard drive crashed last week and i'm in process of replacing it. I'm itching for the snow to start falling. We're supposed to get our first snow fall in the mountain passes tonight or tomorrow night. We shall see.

He is 12 and this is his first year doing a competition circuit. He wants to compete in USsa/FIS stuff at 15 when he is eligible. To ride 8 hours a day, 6 days a week and compete to win, he wants to train as much as possible. I work evenings as a nurse and homeschool him to keep our daylight hours free. It's his own motivation and if he didn't want to do it that would be fine too. We do like to ride together a lot but I missed a lot of days to my leg last year....
