I've heard good things about the Mt Bailey operation. Looks like really, really good stuff for sure.

I had several friends go out with Cascade Powder cats on Stevens Pass the week before I went out there. They really enjoyed their trip with them.

If you are staying stateside I think either PNW operation would be good choices. My only suggestion would be to try to book for a March trip. That just seems to be the money month out there.

Otherwise, I'd try to book a BC Canada operator myself. Bald Face, Eagle Pass, Monanshee, and all the others mentioned are quality. Eagle Pass is owned by Scott Newsome who is the first AMGA certified splitboard guide. They have both Heli and Snow Cat operations and a snowboarders sense for terrain choice.

We've always wondered about Cascade Powder cats, we've even talked about stopping by on our way to Stevens on a killer day and seeing if they have any open seats at a discounted rate. What a great way to guarantee yourself killer conditions, fresh and bluebird.

You can't go wrong in B.C., I think B.C. is the worlds hidden gem as far as quality of powder and choices of operation. Your comment on a "snowboarders sense of terrain choice" is so true, that was one of the reasons we would go to Peak Adventures in Northern Idaho, Steve/Scotty really knew how to make it fun.
