Inbounds avy at Schweitzer

Heard some rumblings about an inbounds avy at Schweitzer (near Headwall/Stiles) last Friday. Couple guys carried and partially buried. No bad injuries though. Super icy layer under new snow seems to be the culprit. Anyone heard anything else about it?

Have not but we have similar conditions in the backcountry here in Utah, still compared to last year it's a wet dream out there.

I saw something about this on TGR . You might do a search there, I think the info is all there.

Hmmm, not much that I could find. Just this thread in the Slide Zone. I swore I saw something in the Ski/snowboard forum about this with more info...

I originally heard through the TGR forum, and found another mention on another forum, but that's it. I know there's a couple Schweitzer locals on here so I figured I'd see what they've heard.
