Fresh snow. Heather Canyon opened Sat. Heather lift was spinning Sun. Lots of smiles. Tried a few Burton boards at their demo... still prefer my NS.

Only bad part was the ride home tonight. PDX traffic rerouted through 35! Drives me crazy.

Took santiam pass over to bend today and had to help a guy dig his car out after an avalanche came across the highway and caught him and about 2-3 other cars.

Meadows was sick today! I pretty much spent the entire day lapping the trees all over the mountain. Such a good time today! I did get to demo a pair of the Burton Cartel Restricted, so that was a nice bonus. They tried really hard to get me to demo a board but I refused lol. Traffic on 35 was moving ridiculously slowly today, but at least I only had to get back to our hotel in Hood River so it could've been worse.

Nah, only had a chance to ride the one day. Will be back down to hit Bachelor sometime in Jan/Fed and hopefully at least one more time for some more turns at Meadows at some point this season!

Pretty sure that was the night of the traffic related fatality just off 26 on 35. A couple of bad accidents up there lately.

I'd much rather take 35 from 84 but it's more distance by a decent amount and I got a gas hog.
